Recalibrate 2021
Recalibrate - to re-adjust or bring back into balance.
Over time, machines can get out of adjustment so that they don't work properly or as efficiently as they once did. Our lives can also get out of balance so that we don't function properly or as efficiently as we could. With the new year approaching, it is the perfect time to consider recalibrating your life...especially your spiritual life. So in January we are going to encourage you to join us in 3 spiritual disciplines which will help to recalibrate your spiritual life: Bible Reading, Prayer and Fasting.
Bible Reading - Read through Proverbs...1 chapter per day beginning January 1st
There are 31 days in January and 31 chapters in Proverbs. Whether you have been a Bible reader for years or if you are looking to begin the habit of reading the Bible, this is a great way to start the new year. We will start with Proverbs chapter 1 on January 1. If you miss a day, that's OK, just start back up on the day you are on (remember whatever day of the month it is, that is the chapter to read!).

Fasting & Prayer - January 4-31...sign up to fast at least 1 meal in January
Fasting in the Bible is basically "replacing eating food with prayer." Fasting and prayer are a powerful combination which can bring about great spiritual breakthroughs in our lives! We are asking our church family to consider fasting at least ONE meal during our fasting & praying time in January. We have a prayer guide to help guide your prayer time (click on the button below). We would like to have someone fasting and praying at each meal. To ensure each meal is covered, we are asking individuals to sign up for days/meals. A copy of the calendar is below for you to see what days/meals are still available. To sign up, just fill out the sign-up form below the calendar. The calendar will be updated daily as people sign up.
